Ukraine walk/rally Saturday

ALPENA — A walk/rally in support of Ukraine will start at 11 a.m. on Saturday, starting from the Alpena County Courthouse parking lot. Participants are encouraged to bring signs showing support for Ukraine or Ukraine flags. The group will walk down Chisholm Street to Culligan Plaza and back to the courthouse.

Chili cookoff Saturday in Alpena

ALPENA — The Order of the Eastern Star will host a chili cookoff from 3 to 6 p.m. on Saturday at Alpena Hopper Lodge #199, at 1020 U.S.-23 North, Alpena. Admission is $5 per person. Call 231-468-4563 if you have questions.
