Courtesy Photo The Giving Tree, a Christmas project of the deacons at Alpena’s First Presbyterian Church, collected 50 hats, 39 pairs of gloves, 210 pairs of socks, 50 pairs of underwear, 12 hat and glove sets, 10 sets of thermal underwear for kids, 12 sets of women’s thermal underwear, 14 pairs of tights, and 21 items of miscellaneous clothing.
