ALPENA — The Alpena High School Class of 1959 will host its 65th reunion on Saturday, Aug. 24 at the 19th Hole. Dinner will be held at 4 p.m. Order off the menu.

Bridge results noted

ALPENA — Alpena Duplicate Bridge Club results have been announced for this week. Gordon Bennett and Marge French came in first place, followed by Ron Young and Jan Kane in second, and Bev Rousseau and Marcy Sherman in third.

Book sale Saturday at Grand Lake Library

PRESQUE ISLE — A book sale will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Grand Lake Library, 18132 Lake Esau Highway, Presque Isle. Books will be sold by donation.

Proceeds will be used to improve the library. The sale is sponsored by Friends of the Grand Lake Library.
