Benefit dinner for Tammy Bancroft Aug. 31
ALPENA — A pulled pork dinner, silent auction, raffles, and more will be held on Saturday, Aug. 31 to benefit Tammy Bancroft, who was diagnosed with esophageal cancer in June, at the age of 49.
Funds raised will provide essential assistance to Tammy and her husband as they travel to Detroit for her to undergo treatments in the coming months, enabling them to sustain their quality of life during this difficult time.
The benefit event will start at 2 p.m. on Aug. 31 in the Merchant Building at Alpena County Fairgrounds, 625 S. 11th Ave.
The cost for the pulled pork dinner is $10 per adult, $5 per child ages 6 to 12, and free for children age 5 and younger.
There will also be a silent auction, 50/50 raffles, cornhole, and several raffle events including the chance to win a booze barrel, gun, and deer blind. Tickets for those raffles are available for purchase at Ball Tire in Alpena.
This is a bring your own beverages event.
Donations of auction items are needed. Please contact Dakota Noel at 989-464-7480 or Kayla Lobaugh at 989-464-2417 for more information.
