Dorothea Sandra

HARRISVILLE — Dorothea Sandra will be the July visiting artist at the Dragonfly Gallery in Harrisville.

The Dragonfly is open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday at 116 E. Main St., Harrisville.

Actively promoting her art only since 2018, Dorothea Sandra, BA, EDAC, has been in newspapers, radio, and television. Her work has appeared in museums and galleries, and she was interviewed in 2023 by the Arts+Mind Lab at the Center for Applied Neuroaesthetics, Pedersen Brain Science Institute at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.

She is the author of the book “100 Days Of Happy Happy Art, Evidence-Based Design.” Her paintings have also appeared in the Art Review sections of House & Garden, The World Of Interiors, and the London Tatler magazines.
