Sunrise Mission offering free haircuts Monday

ALPENA — Sunrise Mission is hosting a Free Haircut and Beard Trim Event provided by five professional hair stylists from Rebel Roots Hair Studio, Alpena, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday at 616 W. Chisholm St., Alpena (campus administration building).

The event is by appointment only — call 989-356-1277.

Light refreshments will be served. Sunrise Mission will accept donations which are appreciated but not expected.

Parking signage will indicate designated parking area.

Sunrise Mission is pleased to announce Michelle Bailey as new Executive Director, as of Jan. 5.

Long Lake Association to meet Wednesday

PRESQUE ISLE — The Long Lake Improvement Association will meet at 7 p.m. on Wednesday at the Parker House Restaurant, located at 24732 U.S.-23 North, Presque Isle. The public is welcome.
