Hillman Christian Academy fundraiser to feature Will Funk

Will Funk

HILLMAN — The annual Hillman Christian Academy fundraiser is going to be on Friday, March 22 at the school gym. The school is located at 331 W. 3rd St., just a few blocks from the Dairy Queen.

This year’s fundraiser will feature the group 4 One Quartet. This Gospel group of four men have been traveling and singing for over 12 years. The group features Hillman native Will Funk who was a member of Hillman Free Methodist Church before the building became the home of the Hillman Christian Academy. Funk has been a member of the Hillman community for his entire life and was employed by the Montmorency Sheriff’s department. He also served the Hillman community as a board member of the Hillman Council. Now he serves the Lord with his voice with this Christian group of men that travel and spread the Gospel.

The event will start at 7 p.m. and there will be food and drinks available for those who attend.

There will be a free will offering of $5 per person and $25 for the entire family. The money that is generated will go to the school.

Hillman Christian Academy’s mission is “To bring God glory by providing an exceptional Biblical-centered education dedicated to developing leaders who are spiritually, personally, and academically prepared to impact their sphere of influence.”

The school’s purpose is “To impact lives by teaching children to discover their purpose before God in a culture where they are known and valued.”
