Bridge results announced

ALPENA ­– Alpena Duplicate Bridge Club results for this week have been announced.

Marge French and Mike Mandrick came in first place, followed by Deanna Brege and Gayle Nowak in second. Two teams tied for third place: Jackie Kennedy and Loretta Reynolds, and Linda Clegg and Audrey Stevens.

Used book sale Friday

ALPENA ­– MyMichigan Volunteers will host a used book sale from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday in the MyMichian Medical Center Alpena lobby, open to the public.

MCL to host Polish Dinner Saturday at VFW Hall

ALPENA — The Marine Corps League will be serving a Polish Dinner from 4 to 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 24, the last Saturday of the month, in the VFW Lounge on Connon Street.

The menu includes kielbasa, sauerkraut, perogies, potatoes, and a choice of delicious desserts. The drawing for the Ace of Spades will be held at approximately 5 p.m. that day.

Euchre tournament Saturday at Hillman Senior Center

HILLMAN — A euchre tournament will be held on Saturday at the Hillman Senior Center, 421 Pineview Ct.
