PRESQUE ISLE ­– Brad Nugent and his son Blaise were the recipients of this year’s muzzle loader hunt at Singing Hills Hunting Camp in Presque Isle.

This amazing adventure was donated by Bill Friedrich (owner) and coordinated/hosted by Gary Lamb and Tom Jones.

“My son and I had a great time,” Brad Nugent said. “The hosts made sure we were warm by the fire, fed great meals and we saw deer each time we sat in the blind. The camp hosts told comical and historical stories (about camp) and our time went by too quickly. As soon as we were done eating hors d’oeuvres, Gary and Tom would start working on the next meal. Everything was delicious. Our heartfelt thanks to everyone for this amazing opportunity, and whoever wins this ‘hunt’ in the future years are sure to have a good time. We sure did!”

The hunt experience package raffle was done as a fundraiser for Friends Together, a nonprofit cancer support organization servicing six area counties.
