ALPENA ­– More than 22 Exchangites, family and friends participated in the annual effort of Vietnam Veterans #583 Toys for Kids gift wrapping.

In addition to a $500 cash donation from the club, members individually donated gifts and gift wrapping paper to help ease the budget for the program.

The Exchange Club also chose to forego the traditional “gift exchange” at the recent Christmas party and asked members to bring books for children for the Toys For Kids event.

The National Exchange Club is a group of men and women working to make America a better place to live through the national project, prevention of child abuse, and other community service projects.

The members were proud to work with the Vietnam Veterans program to make a difference in the life of children.
