ALPENA -- Alpena High School will hold a ceremony on Friday morning to observe Veterans Day. Alpena High School students and staff will gather at the flag at 9:45 a.m. to honor the service of our veterans and remember our national promise to fulfill our obligations to our veterans and their families who have sacrificed so that we can live free.
The City of Alpena Fire Department will fly a large American flag on their ladder truck.
Exchange Club of Alpena will present AHS Principal Romeo Bourdage with a new flag for the building.
Alpena High School student Amaya Brousseau will sing the national anthem.
AHS Students will play "America the Beautiful."
