All Saints Festival Nov. 3

ALPENA — All Saints Festival, a celebration of the Catholic parish and school, will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 3 at All Saints Parish Hall, 817 Sable St., Alpena.

The public is welcome. There will be a chili cookoff, and entries are sought, kids crafts, family movie and popcorn, bonfire, warm drinks, and prayer for all souls.

Dinner Thursday at Spratt UM

LACHINE — The ladies of Spratt United Methodist Church will host a soup, sandwich, and dessert dinner from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday at the church, 7440 M-65, one mile south of Werth Road.

The cost is $12 per adult and free for children ages 12 and younger.

The public is welcome to attend.

Bridge results announced

ALPENA — Duplicate Bridge Club results have been noted for this week, with Gordon Bennett and Marge French placing first, followed by Jackie Kennedy and Loretta Reynolds in second, and Carolyn Belton and Judie Vivian in third.
