Saving Planet Earth program Thursday at Alpena County Library

ALPENA — The Association of Lifelong Learners and the League of Women Voters will present Saving Planet Earth, from 6 to 7 p.m. on Thursday at Alpena County Library.
The following panel will explain how they are saving planet earth: Jeff Scott–Holcim, Alpena; Meag Schwartz–Great Lakes Great Responsibility; Amber Hubbard–Huron Pines; Rachel Smolinski–City of Alpena Manager. Each panelist will present their events and recycling projects that benefit our environment.
The public is invited to attend this free event, to be held in the Stillion Conference Room upstairs at the library, 211 N. 1st Ave., Alpena.
