WOVEN Sept. 12 at New Life in Alpena

ALPENA -- All women and young women (6th grade and older) are warmly invited to WOVEN (Women Of Victory Experiencing Newness) from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 12 at New Life Christian Fellowship, 317 Ripley Blvd., Alpena.

Patty Spaeth will share on the topic "Equipped to Serve." She will tackle questions such as: "What does it mean to serve others?" "How can I improve my 'serve'?" and "What does this look like in my everyday life?"

Jesus said that He "did not come to be served, but to serve and give His life as a ransom for many." (Matthew 20:28)

Join other women to discover how to follow Jesus' example and to confidently share His love not only with words, but also with practical, doable actions.

There is no cost for the event which begins with a shared meal. For more information, contact the church office at 989-354-0095 or visit www.facebook.com/ALPENAWOVEN.
