A new Instagram page, Artwork of Alpena -- available at Instagram.com/ArtworkofAlpena -- has launched.
The page features images of the murals and sculptures around town.
Anyone who tags the page in their own Instagram post of a mural or sculpture in Alpena will be entered into a drawing for a $25 gift card to a local business, the Alpena Area Chamber of Commerce said in its email newsletter.
Each month will feature a different local business.
The Alpena Downtown Development Authority has donated the first $25 gift in downtown dollars.
Drawings will be held on the first of every month, starting Sept. 1.
Businesses that would like to donate a $25 gift card should contact activity contact Alisha Bouchard at abouchard@alpenachamber.com.
