Ellen LaCross

ALPENA ­– Thunder Bay Arts Council and Gallery, Inc. presents Ellen LaCross as their Featured Artist for the months of March and April.

An open house will be held for her from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Friday, March 10, in the TBA Gallery, 127 W. Chisholm St., Alpena.

LaCross studied art at Alpena Community College and Western Michigan University and has taken numerous workshops. She works mostly in watermedia and collage, focusing on color texture and composition, using representational elements for their design qualities.

The March 10 event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
