Awakon to give $50K to area organizations
ONAWAY — Awakon Federal Credit Union will be giving back $50,000, to 23 organizations across Northern Michigan.
AFCU’s Board of Directors and Management Team recently formed the Awakon Communities Advocacy Council, including team members from Awakon’s five locations. The intention of this council is to utilize its funds to assist projects and/or organizations that exhibit the potential to improve the quality of life for members of the communities it serves.
Awakon will be highlighting and bringing attention to each of these organizations via their social media channels and Awakon’s upcoming member newsletter. AFCU is dedicated to give back, assist, and support projects and organizations across Northern Michigan.
