ALPENA — MyMichigan Medical Center Alpena volunteers are once again hosting their annual Koeze Nut Sale and Raffle.
Proceeds from the popular event support ongoing projects and pledges for patient care and updated technology.
The sale has appealed to donors and community members for many years, and features a variety of specialty candy and nuts to help celebrate the holiday season. Items are sourced primarily from Michigan companies, including Koeze, established in 1910, of Grand Rapids, and St. Laurent Brothers of Bay City. One lucky raffle winner with take home the Koeze Opulent Basket, valued at $400.
The volunteers are passionate about maintaining the tradition of this sale and spend extra hours making sure these high-quality, sweet and salty treats make it into the hands and homes of community members.
The sale runs from Nov. 14 through Dec. 15, and is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Koeze Nut Sale chairperson Karen Morey encourages shoppers to visit MyMichigan Medical Center Alpena to make purchases and also welcomes orders placed by phone for curbside service.
