ALPENA — The 44th Annual Dork Brothers Independence Day 5K Run/Walk and 1 Mile is back in-person this year.

Come join the annual tradition and support the United Way of Northeast Michigan as they bring the Dolly Parton Imagination Library to preschool aged children 0-5 in Alpena County.

The event starts from the APlex. The 1-mile run starts at 8:30 a.m., followed by the 5K at 9 a.m.

Pre-registration is encouraged. Race day registration will occur from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m.
