Emily Code and Ryan Wilk

Emily Code and Ryan Wilk announce their engagement.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Leslie and Jim Schmanski of Alpena and Patrick Code of Grand Rapids. The future groom is the son of Annie and Matt Mead of Lincoln and Andy Wilk of Posen.

The bride is a 2014 graduate of Alpena High School and a 2020 graduate of Ferris State University. She is employed by White Pearl Dentistry as a dental hygienist in Ann Arbor.

The groom is a 2012 graduate of Alpena High School and a 2015 graduate of the Concrete Technology Program at Alpena Community College. He is employed by Soil and Materials Engineering as an engineering technician in Plymouth.

The couple will exchange their wedding vows on August 19, 2022 at the Grand Lake Chapel in Presque Isle.
