Alma Dean’s List announced

ALMA — Alma College has released the dean’s list for those students who achieved outstanding academic performance during the 2022 Winter Term. Students who achieve a 3.5 or better grade-point average during a term, while carrying a minimum of 13 credits, at least eight of which are evaluative grades, are named to the list.

Local students who made the Alma College Dean’s List include Taylor Alexander of Presque Isle, Justice Cuddie of Rogers City, Caitlyn Fitzpatrick of Onaway, Hannah Fleming of Rogers City, Ava Kelly of Rogers City, and Trevor Wregglesworth of Onaway.

Cumper graduates with honors

John Cumper of Atlanta graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts from Chadron State College on May 7. The college hosted a combined ceremony to honor students earning bachelor’s degrees.

Dr. Paul D. Turman, Nebraska State College System Chancellor, was the commencement speaker.
