Courtesy Photo The board of directors from Second Chance Animal Shelter had a toast prior to their fundraising dinner and auction, themed “A Tail to Remember” on Friday, Oct. 15. The event was an amazing success and raised over $30,000 in the live and silent auction alone. The new shelter is set to open up later this year or early next year once building renovations are completed.
