Courtesy Photo King Settlement Free Methodist Camp is hosting a Christian rock and blues concert from 1 to 6 p.m. on Saturday at their new pavillion, 3886 King Settlement Road, Alpena. The concert will feature the bands Risen (from Flint), Blue Thorns (from Detroit and West Virginia), and Brendan Brooks (from Wisconsin). Donations to help with facility building costs will be accepted, and concession food and non-alcoholic drinks will be available for purchase. Risen band members are pictured above. The concert is being held to raise funds to finish building projects so they can better serve Jesus Christ and the community and continue to do good work for the Lord in the Alpena area.
