Andrew Smigelski and Emily Kroll

Emily Kroll and Andrew Smigelski are happy to announce their engagement. The bride-to-be is the daughter of Gerald and Joanne Kroll of Posen. The future groom is the son of Donald Smigelski and the late Betty Smigelski of Alpena.

Emily graduated from Posen High School in 2010, Alpena Community College in 2013 (associate’s degree in Medical Assisting), and Grand Valley State University in 2017 (Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting). She also holds a master’s degree in Accounting from Grand Valley State University. Emily is currently employed with Wolverine World Wide in Rockford.

Andrew graduated from Alpena High School in 2006, and Alpena Community College in 2009 (associate’s degree in applied science in Concrete Technology). He is currently employed with Soils & Materials Engineers in Grand Rapids.

The couple is planning a June 12, 2021 wedding at St. Anne Catholic Church in Alpena.
