Chicken dinner at American Legion April 10

A chicken dinner will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 10 at The American Legion Hall, 1316 M-32 West in Alpena.

The menu includes baked and barbecue chicken, potatoes, dressing, green bean casserole, corn, dinner rolls and a dessert bar.

The suggested donation is $8 per adult, $4 per child ages 6-12, and free for children ages 5 and younger.

Presque Isle District Library book fair next week

The Presque Isle District Library is hosting a Scholastic Book Fair that is open to the public.

Dates for in-person shopping are from April 5-10 at the Rogers City Theater, 257 N. Third Street, Rogers City.

Online shopping is currently open. All proceeds will go to the Rogers City Elementary School Library. Please stop by and support them.
