“I am proud to announce the promotion of Brian Golden,” Sheriff Frank said in a press release. “Please help me congratulate Brian on on his well-earned promotion.”

He will serve as the jail administrator and oversee the day-to-day operations of the Iosco County Jail.

Golden has been employed with Iosco County since September 2001. His past positions included paramedic, shift leader, EMS captain, corrections officer, and most recently, corrections corporal.

Golden is a graduate of Alpena High School, Alpena Community College, and Lansing Community College. He is the son of Jim and Arlene Golden of Alpena, and resides in East Tawas with his wife, Brianna, and family.
