Members of the community would like to recognize the professional firefighters who recently retired or resigned from the Alpena Township Fire Department: Captain Bruce Honeycutt, 27 years of service, Lieutenant Tom Tolan, 7 years of service, Captain John Clements, 27 years of service, and Captain Ken Piper, 17 years of service. Their dedication to the township will not be forgotten.
