Max and Futrell engaged to marry

Jordan Max and McKenzie Futrell

McKenzie Futrell and Jordan Max, both of Grand Rapids, have announced their engagement.

McKenzie is the daughter of Heidi and Matthew Myers of Saginaw.

Jordan is the son of Deb and Larry Worth of Alpena, and Daniel Max (Tinya Collins) of Indiana.

McKenzie is a 2015 graduate of Swan Valley High School and a 2019 graduate of Saginaw Valley State University, earning her BSN to become a registered nurse (RN). She is employed by Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital in the neonatal intensive care unit.

Jordan is a 2011 graduate of Alpena High School and a 2016 graduate of Michigan State University, with a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology. He earned his master’s degree in occupational therapy from Baker College in 2021. He is employed as a rehabilitation technician at Spectrum Health.

The couple is planning a June 26, 2021 wedding at The Pine Tree Barn in Flushing.
