Volunteers at Trinity Episcopal Church in Alpena distributed about 40 Thanksgiving meals to those in need at Sunday’s distribution day in front of the church. Many were picked up, and about seven of them were delivered. Organizers Ellen Eagan and Carol Rundell said the remaining 60 meals will be available to give out at the next holiday distribution on Dec. 20. At that time, organizers hope to also give out hats, gloves, scarves and winter coats. If you would like to donate these items, contact the church at 989-356-0576.
