WiFi at new library

Thanks to a grant from the Library of Michigan’s CARES grant program, the Alpena County Library has public wireless internet access available outside of its temporary location in Bear Pointe Plaza.

Funds from this grant allowed the library to upgrade the wireless network and extend it into the parking lot outside of the building.

Internet access is available 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday; 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday; 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday; and 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday.
