Benjamin Stoyak and Brooke Loughery

Steven and Karen Loughery of Alpena are happy to announce the engagement of their daughter, Brooke, to Benjamin Stoyak, son of Stephan and Jodi Stoyak of Girard, Ohio.

Brooke is a graduate of Alpena High School and Central Michigan University. She also holds a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Central Michigan University. She is employed as a speech-language pathologist in Detroit.

Benjamin is a graduate of Liberty High School and The University of Cincinnati. He also holds a Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Ohio University. He is employed as an emergency medicine resident physician in Wyandotte, Michigan.

Benjamin and Brooke will be married on June 19, 2021, in Detroit.
