A recent Facebook post on the Roger’s City Community Theatre page by Pennie Hoeft has announced that the summer youth program has been canceled.

“The Roger’s City Community Theatre Board of Directors met and discussed the 2020 summer youth program and the health and well-being of the children and families who work so hard to prepare for this annual event, as well as the community who so wholeheartedly supports them,” the post stated. “We believe it is in the best interest of the youth or the community to not move forward with the program at this time. We remain committed to providing theatre programs to the community and look forward to a time when we are able to do that in the future.”
