MacMaster graduates Albion

Alpena’s Sarah MacMaster graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Albion College with a degree in biology with a minor in Spanish, awarded summa cum laude. MacMaster also received a Lyman S.V. Judson Endowed Award in Biological Science. MacMaster is the child of Donald MacMaster and Tina Rossi of Alpena and is a graduate of Alpena High School.

AHS grads get scholarships

Three Alpena High School graduates were each awarded $500 scholarships from the BIG A (Jason E. Andersen) Memorial Scholarship Fund.

Recipients are Garrett Beaulieu, who plans to attend Ferris State University, Nikita Cordes, who plans to attend Alpena Community College, and Sam Romero, who plans to attend Grand Valley University.
