David Veasy and Amanda Sarazin

Amanda Lynn Sarazin and David Allan Veasy are pleased to announce their engagement.

Amanda graduated from Dubuque Senior High School, Dubuque, Iowa, in 2011.

She received her associate’s degree in Nursing in 2016 from Northeastern Iowa Community College. She will be completing her bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Western Governors University in April of 2020. Currently she is a Registered Nurse on Mercy One’s Surgical Services floor in Dubuque, as well as a Nursing Clinical Instructor for NICC. Her parents are Robert and Ellen Sarazin who reside in Dubuque, Iowa.

David graduated from Alpena High School in 2007. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering in 2011 from Michigan Technological University. Currently he is an Engineering Supervisor for John Deere Construction and Forestry in Dubuque, Iowa. His parents are David and Tammy Veasy who reside in Ossineke.

The couple is planning an Aug. 28, 2020, wedding at the National Mississippi River Museum and Aquarium in Dubuque, Iowa.
