Aid by the Dozen met
Geri Skiba welcomed members of the Aid by the Dozen to her home for the October meeting. After dinner, Catherine Murphy called the meeting to order. The monthly donation went to a local family for traveling and medical expenses. Thank-you notes were read, which is always pleasing to the group. It was a unanimous decision that Joyce Murphy, our Sunshine Lady, will be an honorable member. Joyce will continue to send cards.
Much laughter took place when secret pal gifts were exchanged. Receiving surprises were Maxine Gagnon, Chris Dubey, Marlene Montie, Mariette Jore, Lori Zeller, Donna Anderson and Carol Kelly, who also won the hostess gift. Carol provided the cake raffle, cider and donuts, which was taken by Darlene Robarge. Prior to leaving, Geri passed out gifts to all. The next meeting will be hosted by Catherine on Nov. 21 at JJ’s.
