Turning Brook Assisted Living recently honored Wyatt Smith, from Troop 78, for his Eagle Scout Project. Smith made planter boxes for the residents so they could be seated while planting flowers or vegetables. Smith’s great-grandpa is a current resident and loves gardening. Wyatt wanted to provide the residents an opportunity to still participate in activities that they used to love doing while living independently. At right, Smith is pictured with Turning Brook Administrator Barb Werle with the planter boxes.
