The 13th Annual Zonta Walk for Women Breast Cancer Awareness Walk & 5K Run is Saturday starting at Great Lakes Maritime Heritage Center. Pictured are Alpena Community College Nursing Students and instructors who will be providing volunteer support for this annual event. Onsite registration is from 8:30 to 9:45 a.m. at 500 W. Fletcher St. in Alpena. Cost is $20. A 5K run starts at 9:30 a.m., welcome at 9:45 a.m., and 5K walk at 10 a.m., with awards and refreshments to follow at 11 a.m. Cassie Newman is this year’s Honorary Chair for the event.
