Soup, sandwich supper Friday
Grace Episcopal Church soup and sandwich supper is 4 to 6 p.m. Friday with homemade soups, sandwiches, pies and desserts. Cost is by donation. The church is at 13488 Long Rapids Rd. Call Sherrie O'Brien at 989-379-3915.
Bridge results announced
Alpena Duplicate Bridge Club winners this week are Mark Wolsham and Eve Phillips in first place, Linda Clegg and Audrey Stevens in second place, and Beverley Rousseau and Marcy Sherman in third place.
The group meets at 12:45 p.m. Mondays at First United Methodist Church on the corner of First Avenue and Ripley Boulevard in Alpena.

Italian dinner, auction in R.C.
A Taste of Italy Italian Dinner and Auction is Saturday at St. John Lutheran School, 145 N. Fifth St. in Rogers City.
A silent auction starts at 4 p.m. Dinner is 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., and a live auction starts at 7 p.m. Cost is $12 per adult, $5 per child, free for ages 5 and under. Carryouts are $12.

Cemetery tour Saturday
Join the Alpena County Library's Special Collections Department on Saturday for a free, unique, interactive tour of Evergreen Cemetery, Let Our History Not Be Forgotten.
The program will be offered in two sessions at 3 or 5 p.m. Pre-registration is required by calling the library at 989-356-6188, ext. 14. Recommended for ages 12 and older.
