‘LIGHT’ juried art show winners chosen

ALPENA — Winners of the “LIGHT” juried art exhibit at Art in the Loft were announced on Friday, and Karen Jonker won Best of Show.

The exhibit, open through Nov. 7, was juried by Community Mural Artist Tony Hendrick, who selected the following winners.

¯ Best of Show: Jonker for her mixed media piece, “Passage.”

¯ Second Place: Hope Reed for her photograph, “Forgive the darkness; for it is just as greedy as the light.”

¯ Third Place: Beverly Wolf for her photograph, “Mesa Arch.”
