Temple Beth-El has two events happening. On Friday, Rabbi Howard Morrison will lead the Sabbath Service at Temple Beth-El, 125 E. White St., Alpena. Potluck dinner begins at 6 p.m. with a presentation entitled, “The Saddest of Times and The Happiest of Times.” This will be followed by Shabbat service at 7:30. On Sunday, Rabbi Morrison will lead an Enrichment Program at Temple Beth-El at 2 p.m. Morrison will share lessons on the cycle of the Jewish calendar, its months and where its sacred seasons fit in. Seating is limited so please call 595-3544 for reservations and more information.
