CCHS ’58 reunion Sept. 21

The Catholic Central High School Class of 1958 will hold a reunion on Saturday, Sept. 21, at the 19th Hole.

This event is open to classmates and those who would like to socialize with the class of 1958.

Social hour will begin at 5 p.m., and dinner will be served at 6 p.m.

Donnan reunion Aug. 3

The Donnan reunion will be one day only on Saturday, Aug. 3, at Wilson Township Hall. Bring a dish to pass.

Grand Lake sales Fri., Sat.

Grand Lake’s 29th Annual Neighborhood Sale is Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with 29 families participating.

Maps will be available after 5 p.m. on Thursday at The Birch Hill Store, Sand Bay Trading Company, Presque Isle Library, Portage Store, Presque Isle Harbor Clubhouse, and at www.grandlakemi.org.

Marine picnic

The Marine Corps League Alpena Detachment 1327 will host its annual picnic from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Starlite Beach Pavilion.

All Marines and their families and friends are welcome. Some of the military from Northern Strike will be attending. Bring a dish to pass if desired.

Bridge Club results

Alpena Duplicate Bridge Club winners this week were Gayle Nowak and Deanna Brege in first place, Maxine Moran and Carolyn Belton in second place, and a tie for third place by Fred Woolman and Eve Phillips, and Audrey Stevens and Linda Clegg.
