The Alpena Knights of Columbus Council 529 concluded their annual Coats for Kids drive by presenting 50 items of winter clothing to volunteers at the Children’s Closet. The items have a total retail value of $3,775. The Knights purchased the items from J.C. Penney’s and Peebles at a very gracious discount.
