Every Thursday now through Aug. 8, Alpena City Band will perform free concerts at 7:30 p.m. at the Bandshell at Bay View Park in Alpena. The only time change is the July 4 concert, which will be at 5:30 p.m.

Concert dates are this Thursday and June 20 and 27, July 4, 11, 18 and 25, and Aug. 1 and 8.

Special concerts include: Looking Back on June 20, which will feature familiar tunes from the 1920s through the 1960s, Patriotic tunes on July 4, Children’s concert on July 25, and Polka Night on Aug. 8.
