Zeller hosts Aid By The Dozen meeting

Lori Zeller hosted the Aid By The Dozen monthly meeting on April 30.

After enjoying a delicious dinner and dessert, the meeting was opened. It was decided to send the monthly donation to a local family. Dues were collected and cards sent. Several thank-you’s were received from past donation recipients.

The fun began when auctioneers Catherine Murphy and Carol Kelly started the bi-annual white elephant sale. This sale, along with dues, makes it possible for the group to donate to many families throughout the year.

The members made note that this Aid By The Dozen (Group Two) has been around for 65 years of giving. The multi-item auction was won by Carol and secret pals receiving gifts were Mariette Jore, Chris Dubey, Geri Skiba, Kay Ross, Leora Jacobs, Carol and Catherine.

Upon leaving, Lori treated members with garden-themed goodies.

The May meeting will be hosted by Marlene Montie.
