Johnathan Smith

Johnathan Thomas Smith of Alpena graduated from Western Michigan University on April 27 with a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering with an emphasis in life sciences.

He accepted a position with Armstrong International in Three Rivers, where he has been interning for the past two years.

Over the next year, Smith will be completing a Master of Science degree in chemical engineering while working full-time.

Smith is the son of Patrick and Nancy Smith, the brother of Justin and Scott Smith of Alpena, the brother of Chris Smith of Petoskey, and the grandson of Myra Gapske and Dolores Smith of Alpena.
