The sale will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. today and Thursday, 3 to 7 p.m. Friday, and 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Alpena High School greenhouse.

On May 22 and 23, a sale will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. May 24, and 9 a.m. to noon May 25.

This is the second time the program is having a spring plant sale. All proceeds from the sale will support future agriscience projects.

Students will be selling a variety of flowering annuals and vegetable plants. Vegetable plants available include tomatoes, peppers, herbs, cucumbers, and many others. Flowering plants include hanging baskets of petunias, mixed planters, geraniums, and many other varieties.

All plants were planted and raised by current agriscience students. Students from the program will be at the fundraiser to answer questions about plant care and can assist community members in purchasing plants.

Questions about the fundraiser can be directed to agriscience teachers Melissa Smith at 989-358-5223 or smithmm@alpenaschools.com or Ron Worth at 989-358-5220 or worthr@alpenaschools.com.
