On Monday night, March 18, the Girl Scouts of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Alpena hosted International Night for Girl Scouts in the area.

Twelve troops attended the event and hosted tables that represented their countries.

Scouts were able to visit the countries, sample a traditional food, collect SWAPS, learn new games and songs.

Two foreign exchange students also were in attendance: Victoria from Denmark and Jaime from Spain.

Four seventh grade Cadettes are earning their Silver Award, and hosting the International Night was part of that award. The Scouts are Kahlan Mousseau, Alexis Peterson, Baylee Ross and Julianne Low. Troop leaders are Bronwyn Woolman and Trudy Mousseau.
