Timothy Ciarkowski and Renee von Guggenberg

Renee von Guggenberg and Timothy Ciarkowski announce their engagement.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Alexander and Nance von Guggenberg of Alexandria, Va. Timothy is the son of Joanne and Steven Romel of Alpena.

The couple currently resides in Christiansburg, Va. Renee is employed as a clinical social worker in Roanoke, Va. Timothy is employed at Virginia Tech and has recently completed his PhD in Engineering.

The couple will exchange vows during an intimate ceremony on April 13, 2019.
