Comedian Bryan McCree will offer a “Comedian for a Cause” event, from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23.

The event, at the APlex, is a fundraiser for Association of Lifelong Learners. Tickets are $10, available at the door. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

Proceeds from ticket sales and 50/50 sales will go to ALL.

Provacative but not raunchy, McCree, from Flint, is out to be the funniest man in the Midwest. He performed in Alpena last year and is welcomed back.

McCree was recently chosen to be a contestant in Laugh Fest’s Best of the Midwest stand-up competition, which will be held March 11 in Grand Rapids.
