Carter

Glenn Carter has been chosen as the December volunteer of the month by the Alpena Boys and Girls Club-Youth Volunteer Corps.

Carter is a 17-year-old senior at Alpena High School and has been an active participant in the Youth Volunteer Corps program for the last four-and-a-half years, accumulating a total of 182 service hours in his community.

Carter’s favorite project is the Huron Humane Society because of his love for animals and how he can care for ones that are in need of a home.

If you are considering joining YVC, Carter would tell you from personal experience that it’s a great way to positively impact your community and develop team and leadership skills. Carter feels it’s always an excellent opportunity to make new friends and explore potential career opportunities for your future.
